Final Outcome:

After speaking with my brother, his union president reached out and asked me to design a logo for his union so that they would be able to have branding that could be taken and used to create branded clothing for them. He knew that he wanted to have their union name and city on the logo while also referring to their work with their company, Veolia Environnement S.A. So with that, I began to look at water and sewer manhole covers to derive inspiration from them. I took parts of each style of manhole covers and began to create the design. After some communication, I also created variations with their different departments so that they would be able to represent their position within the company. In the end, I created a visual brand Identity that would represent the union and the work that they do.
